My New Blog

    So before I created this blog I applied for an official blog through my program.  They did not tell me if I did get the blog or not so I made this one really fast before I left.  Turns out I did get the official blog.  I think I will take that blog because it might influence another student to go on an exchange trip, and plus it is an OFFICIAL blog.  I will have training in a day or two about getting my new blog.  When I get it I will put the link on this blog and it will also go on facebook too.

This is the Greatest Place Ever!!!

    So these last days I have been living in Sydney with all of the other exchange students from around the world.  They were awesome!  There was Finn from Germany, Maximillion from Germany, Fabian from Germany, and Guanluca from Italy (I think I spelt his name wrong).  We had a fun time together.  We spent the day yesturday touring Sydney.  I got to see the opera house!  Today I was suspose to fly to Melbourn to meet my family at 12 but then I found out my ticket got cancelled so I had to wait an extra two hours to fly.  I finally made it here.  I love it!  My family gave me some delicious chocolate and I got a chance to show them pictures from home.  The one thing that I will never get used to is the steering wheel being on the other side of the car.  I have one more week of holiday break then I start school.  My first day of school is also my birthday.

The Long Travel Ahead

    So I am leaving the country today!!  It still has not sunk into me that I am going to be gone for ten long months.  First immpressions of my new family are good.  They seem like great people and I think I will get along with them very well.  I finally said my last good byes to my friends and I am packed.  Now all there is left to do is get on the plane and fly away.  I am excited but also annoyed about this orientation that I am going to.  It will be great to go explore Sydney with all the other exchange students from around the world but I also wanted to feel a culture shock and learn everything from personal experience.  This first days should be a blast.  I hope I get to go inside the Sydney Opera House!
